Cabbage?

April 19, 2008

Cabbage is a program that has nothing to do with cabbage. The desktop version allows you to send text messages via your free internet texts that Meteor,O2 and Vadafone allow you each month. Basically it lets you just open this program, login and send texts, rather than opening your browser, going to the web site, logging and sending a text. It also has a version that works on your mobile ,sending a text with Cabbage mobile costs between 0.25c and 2c depending on your network and configuration. If you have a data package it costs absolutely nothing to send a text. Linkage

Blob?

April 14, 2008

The Blob. It is a 3D game in which the player controls a ball of paint rolling through the city. The ball can absorb coloured NPC’s to become larger and change its colour. With the paint, the player can then proceed to paint the entire city. Almost everything is paintable: buildings, trees, cars and using the paint trace even the ground. The main goal of the game is to paint all 17 landmark buildings. Hours of fun and all controlled with just the mouse, well worth checking out. More info and download here.
